"You wander aimlessly, searching for a purpose, your army long gone, your throne rotted and defiled, yet you still seek that honorable death as a king, as a ruler. That... I find pitiful."

A scoff escaped the demon king, accompanied by a very small smile. "your appearance deceived me, you are far more imprudent than you look." It was as if he had met a pleasant person.. or perhaps an old friend. His expression softened.

He had met someone who understood him.. the deepest and darkest secrets he held deep within his soul. This god was the same as him, it would seem.

"The same goes for you, Lucifer. Your pathetic journey is a long and arduous one, one in which you will probably die alone... I am almost compeled to aide you."

"I need the help of no man." Lucifer answered, almost immediately after Ishkander's offer. "However... If you want to grant your meaningless life a purpose, then follow in my shadow. "</sup>


It was going to be a speedpaint. But I started added more to it and took about an hour to finish this.
